THE CAMP |
| The scout camp of Echternach is rented
exclusively to scout troops. It consists of a meadow of some 135 Ares,
located at the edge of a forest. On building belong to the camp.

| The camp, divided into 5 parcels, can be rented in whole. Two shelters which can be used as kitchens are available in sub camps 4 and 5. |
| Campfires are allowed in the different camps, but must be put out before departure. Cooking in the open is only permitted when all security measures are followed. Firewood can be collected in the adjacent forests. The forest being private ownership, it is strictly forbidden to cut trees. Non-compliance to these rules will result in dismissal from the campground. |
| The lavatories are located at the entrance of the camp and have drinking water. |
| On hous located in the scout camp can be rented separately. The hous is the “Chalet Robert Schaffner”. |
| THE CHALET ROBERT SCHAFFNER consists of a big room with 20 beds and a smaller one with 8 beds, a living room with an tables and chairs. A full equipped kitchen. In front of the chalet there is a covered terrace of 80 m2. |
| The electricity consumption for heat water in the kitchen and for the dishwasher will be charged separately. |

THE SURROUNDINGS |
| Distance from camp to Echternach : 1,5 km |
| In Echternach are two swimming pools, one covered and the other an open air, shops, church, concert, bus-station (the bus-station of Hotel Bel-Air is next to the camp), a big recreation area with surfing, sailing, canoeing, paddel boats, mini-golf… |
| The border-river “Sauer” is 300 m from the camp with possibilities for canoeing and rafting. |

CAMP AND HOME RULES |

1) The reservation is only valid, if the “Reservation Request” form duly filled out has been returned and after a deposit has been remitted to our bank account at: CAMP SCOUT FNEL ECHTERNACH BIC Code : BGLLLULL Accont IBANN°:LU97 0030 0445 4455 0000 BIC Code : CCPLLULL Accont IBANN°:LU13 1111 1165 7679 0000 Should two groups apply for the same period and the same emplacement, the first “Reservation Request” received will be given prior consideration. All letters should be addressed to : Camp Scout FNEL B.P. 55 L-6401 Echternach All correspondence and payments to the above should mention the appropriate reference number. |
| 2) Scouts law should be the basis of all activities of the home users. |
| 3) Every leader is responsible for the acts of his guides and scouts and is liable for eventual repairs. Every group or unit staying at the home of Echternach has to present an international scout passport as well as an insurance policy for civil liability. The owner of the home and camp declines all liability in case of damage to persons and goods. |
| 4) Private cars as well as mobil-homes are not allowed on the surrounding grounds except if they are used in favour of handicapped guides or scouts. |
| 5) It is strictly forbidden to cut or damage trees or plantations. |
| 6) Radio, loudspeaker, etc. only at minimum volume, and after 22 hours all noises outside the home are strictly forbidden. After 23 hours : Silence. |
| 7) Smoking is not allowed in the sleeping wards. |
| 8) The camp and the home should be cleaned at the end of the stay so that the next group is finding a neat place. |
| 9) On the leaving day the camp and the home should de free at 12.00 hours (noon) |
